General Information
Subhas Chandra Bose Centenary College has taken an initiative to create a Career Development & Counselling Cell to provide proper career guidance and training to students in the year of 2016. It helps the students to make career decisions and choices necessary in affecting career adjustments. The college has been working since 2017 to provide the students a healthy, vibrant and competitive atmosphere to foster learning and explore their own potential.
Our Objectives-
□ To unfold the career opportunities and instill confidence among the students to face the challenging professional world. □ To keep the students updated regarding various career options and guide them towards its fulfillment. □ To provide the students of diverse socio-economic background with equal professional guidance to appear in various job-oriented competitive examinations. □ To develop soft skills and communication ability of the students. □ Increase the employability among the students. □ To provide psychological counseling to the students. □ To prepare students for various competitive exams in an elementary level. □ To inculcate social values and social responsibilities among students.
Achievements
□ Three week long TCS workshop and placement in TCS.(17 students got selected in past two years in TCS company)
□ Successfully run Competitive exam classes for all the students.
□ Give them proper awareness about various career opportunities.
□ Spreading awareness about various issues like cancer, women trafficking, mental health among students.
□ Encouraging them to continue their study and be financially independent.
□ Arrange inter college quiz and debate competition in every three months
□ Development soft skill and communication skill to students
